More about MICR

We’ll continue talk more about MICR technology with fonts, toners and catridges. MICR fonts are fonts that are generally used on bank checks and drafts in countries like USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Panama, UK and a few other counties in order to print MICR characters to get a magnetic and optical character and code recognition systems. The MICR fonts are created according to ISO ABA and ANSI standards and specifications. They are in use for the past three years and is been used in draft creators and other few check printing software programs which will secure safety, security and uniqueness to the checks and drafts.

On the other hand, the MICR toner is been used to print laser checks and if the checks need to be processed quickly and if the checks has to be protected from fraud and by using this MICR Toners checks and documents can be printed from each cartridge and analyzed with a particular MICR document analyzer in order to procure magnetic signal strength and clarity.

MICR cartridges are more reliable as they are manufactured under various stringent quality control measures thus giving out a highest and best performance and reliability. It is actually difficult to photocopy a check or draft if the MICR toner is been used and it becomes much easier to spot a fraudulent copy of a check or draft even if one is been created.
